I am installing Kalyway’s 10.5.1 OS X DVD on a Toshiba Satellite M115-S1061. As soon as install begins, I get an error 'Install Failed' It says, installer could not create the folder "/volumes/SQ004209P01/BaseSystem.pkg.121MMTaSf"

Do you know the fix for this?

John, I am having the dropped network issues on my GA-965p-DS3 in 10.5.5 like you described. I have tried several different AppleYukon kexts and it still drops under load. Can you give me any specifics directions on how to fix this? Thanks.

That error is typically caused when the installation disk can't find your hard drive or if the hard drive driver is incompatible.

What motherboard / disk configuration are you using?

I have been working on trying to install 10.5.2 but after I start the installation it fails about five seconds in with this error: The Installer could not create the folder "/Volumes/Untitled 1/ BaseSystem.pkg162.eqwT8H".

I have no idea what this means or how to fix it. I have tried multiple install discs and countless different bios settings and I still get this error. Do you have any idea what could be causing this error?
